Andalucía antiviolencia escolar (ANDAVE): aciertos y desaciertos del Proyecto Sevilla antiviolencia escolar (SAVE)

El proyecto Sevilla Anti-Violencia Escolar, desarrollado entre los cursos académicos 1996 y 1999 ha significado un trabajo investigador y de intervención educativa en 26 centros escolares de Primaria y Secundaria que ha afectado de forma directa e indi- recta a casi cinco mil escolares. La exploración del problema de la violencia entre igua- les, el establecimiento de perfiles de centro en relación con este problema y la impli- cación de los docentes de nueve escuelas en un proyecto de prevención del maltrato entre compañeros, nos ha permitido desarrollar un modelo abierto, ecológico y com- prensivo de trabajo educativo que se ha mostrado beneficioso para mejorar la convi- vencia y prevenir la violencia. En el articulo se exponen las claves del desarrollo del pro- yecto Sevilla Anti-Violencia escolar y algunos de sus resultados. Aciertos y errores son comentados en orden a ofrecer sugerencias sobre qué conviene volver a repetir y qué conviene mejorar o evitar

Estrategias educativas para la prevención de la violencia: mediación y diálogo

This book primarily aims to establish a set of procedures, both theoretical and practical, for the mediation of conflicts within the school environment.The authors provide an ecological and a community approach to analyze the uprising of school violence. Due to its content, the book is mainly directed to teaching staff in their daily routine. According to the authors, the prevention of conflicts that arise in schools must be understood and dealt with by a multi-disciplinary approach (e.g. creating a network to support school activities, thus avoiding isolation).The book is divided in eight chapters. They focus on the identification of conflicts; the means to overcome them; the alternatives to face and prevent them from occurring; and it contains a discussion of didactic strategies for the school context

El programa de ayuda entre iguales en el contexto del proyecto Sevilla Antiviolencia Escolar

El modelo de intervención que se propone en el Proyecto Sevilla Anti-Vio- lencia Escolar está orientado a la prevención de la violencia escolar mediante la aten- ción a la educación para la convivencia (Ortega, 1997). Sin embargo, no ha dejado de pensar en la atención a aquellos chicos/as que, por una u otra razón, están ya en una situación de riesgo y pueden verse implicados en problemas de malas relaciones, aislamiento o exclusión social por parte de sus compañeros/as. De esta forma, dentro del proyecto SAVE, se diseñaron tres líneas de actuación para trabajar con los escolares en riesgo: los círculos de calidad, la mediación en conflictos y los programas de ayuda entre iguales; éstos últimos inspirados en el modelo propuesto por Cowie y Sharp (1996). El artículo que se presenta es un informe del desarrollo de este último progra- ma en dos centros educativos de Sevilla, sus ventajas y la necesidad de resolver ciertas dificultades para posteriores intervenciones

Asegúrate: an intervention program against cyberbullying based on teachers' commitment and on design of its instructional materials

This article presents the impact on cyberbullying of the Asegúrate program. This educational program is based on the theory of normative social behavior, self-regulation skills,and the beliefs held by adolescents and consists in a whole package of strategies and resources to help teachers to include in the ordinary curricula. The evaluation of Asegúrate was carried out with a sample of 4779 students (48.9% girls) in 5th and 6th grade in primary education and compulsory secondary education (M = 12.76; SD = 1.67) through a quasi-experimental methodology, with two measures over time. The instrument used was the European Cyberbullying Intervention Project Questionnaire. The results show that the involvement in cyberbullying as cyber-victim,cyber-aggressor, and cyber-bully-victim increase without intervention, whereas it diminishes when intervention is carried out by the teachers who have received specific training and have used the didactic Asegúrate package. Additionally, the impact of the intervention on the different types of behaviors was analyzed, and the results show that Asegúrate is more effective with some forms than with others. Consequently, the Asegúrate program is effective for decreasing the prevalence of cyberbullying, but some modifications need to be made to impact on all the different forms it can take.Gobierno de España PSI2017-86723-RGobierno de España PSI2016-74871-
